BHF Lasse

Lasse was sold to Gail Colls of New Hampshire. Gail and Lasse enjoy exploring on the trails and taking dressage lessons.

BHF Roan

BHF Roan was sold to Sue Baer of New York state. Roan will be competing at dressage shows with his great new mom!

BHF Olav

BHF Olav was sold to Karen and Jada Rosemark of Vermont. Olav is currently competing in local and 4h shows with Jada.

BHF Mars

BHF Mars has been sold to Lorraine McInerny of New York. Lorraine and Mars actively compete at recognized dressage shows.

BHF Connor

BHF Connor has been sold to Ruth Price of Massachusetts. Ruth and Connor are currently in dressage training and we hope to see them out competing soon.

BHF Soren

BHF Soren was sold to Dr. Ron and Mrs. Sandie Goldberg of Sunapee, New Hampshire

BHF Mangus

BHF Magnus was sold to Gayle Gildea of Douglas, Mass.

Norma and I are pleased to announce that Anja has arrived safely at her new barn in Wisconsin. Like a typical Fjord, she unloaded into her stall and immediately began eating--always a good sign! Our thanks to East Coast Equine Transport for moving her safely there in less than 24 hours. Paula Rush, her new owner, plans to proceed slowly with Anja to ensure a good bond between them.

BHF Bjorn

Bjorn is an extremely well schooled 14 year old 14 hand brown dun Norwegian fjord gelding. Bjorn has an extensive competition record and has been eventing successfully at the beginner novice level and showing 1st and 2nd level dressage. A truly special horse, Bjorn is ready to further his career or show someone the ropes. He is extremely quiet and has a great brain.

BHF Thalia: Fjord Horse for Sale

Norwegian fjord mare, dun, 7 years old, from Blue Heron Farm in Massachusetts

Well bred coming 8 year old brown dun Norwegian fjord mare. Thalia is a pretty young horse ready to progress in any direction. She has a super attitude, loves to work and will do anything for her rider. This mare is just a pleasure to ride. She has competed in local gymkhanas, where she was the season grand overall champion, and had several excellent dressage scores in 2011. We believe Thalia is truly a special young mare who will only get better with continued experience.

BHF Astrid: Experienced Fjord Horse mare for sale

We are pleased to announce that BHF Astrid is once again available for purchase. Her new owner's circumstances have changed (unable to find a barn that can offer her suitable amounts of turn out time), so she is back on our farm. Astrid is the most expereinced horse on the farm at present and would make a great mount for almost any rider. She has had extensive off-farm show experience and gymkhana expereince with great results. She is calm, courageous and has a great work ethic. As an older mare, she needs an adequate warm up period (long trotting, cavelletti) before going full out.
